Online Cheating

With the title you may probably guess I am going to rant a little here. More and more games these days are becoming multiplayer online games. With that brings the challenge of testing your skill against other players, which is quite fun, however there is a darker side to online multiplayer gaming, and that is
proliferative cheating. Game makers and console vendors go to great lengths to try to curb the cheating, but for some reason people always seem to be able to hack a way around the procedures to prevent them from cheating. I for one don’t mind cheating at a single player game but when you take it online it affects more than just you. If you have to cheat to enjoy a game then you shouldn’t play online games. There is enough to worry about with sorry broadband connections here in the states, which is a major cause of lag, than to worry about someone cheating. Although the afore mentioned lag is sometimes falsely used to say someone was cheating. So until broadband speeds can get better here in the states, I just wish all the l33t haxors out there would just leave online gaming alone so that everyone can enjoy an honest and fair game while playing online.
